Any resolution your handheld supports in video mode can be selected. Video can be encoded as it is taken, or use a temporary file to encode off-line. Digital zoom allows better distance shots. Select MPEG-4 part 2 encoding for excellent compression, or uncompressed to save every last bit for video editing.
All MPEG-4 encoding parameters can be adjusted. Control the bitrate for video you want to stream. Set the quantization for maximum quality or minimum file size. Set frequent key frames for easier editing, or infrequenly to reduce file size. Set the motion search range for fast motion or slow. Set the motion estimation algorithm for Motion Vector Field Adaptation Search Technique or Successive Elimination Algorithm.
... but all these options are collected into presets, so one control on the main form selects a set of parameters for best quality, smallest file size for e-mailing, or a nice balance between them.
