SelectCam Buddha Machine plays ambient sound loops. Tap one of the characters to play the associated sound loop. Tap again to stop playing. You may play more than one loop at a time.

INSTALLATION

OVER-THE-AIR

  1. Download the file SCBuddhaInstaller.prc using the web browser on your handheld.
  2. Run the installer; it will appear in the Launcher with the name "SC Buddha I.".
  3. SelectCam Buddha Machine will appear in the launcher with the name "SC Buddha".

To install the full-length sound loops, see the desktop installation proceedure below.

DESKTOP

  1. Download the file SelectCamBuddhaMachine.zip
  2. Unzip the file SelectCamBuddhaMachine.zip
  3. HotSync SCBuddhaInstaller.prc and the .mp3 files to your handheld.
  4. After HotSyncing, SCBuddhaInstaller.prc will run automatically.
  5. SelectCam Buddha Machine will appear in the launcher with the name "SC Buddha".

VOLUME

To adjust the volume, tap the menu button (or upper left corner of the screen) as usual to bring up the menus, then select the Options/Preferences menu item. The middle of the scale is "100%" volume; above this sound may be distorted.

Of course, external speakers will sound much better (and louder) than the built-in speaker.

REQUIREMENTS

The SelectCam Buddha Machine runs on the following hardware models:
  • Centro smartphone
  • Palm OS (aka Garnet) Treo smartphones
  • LifeDrive mobile manager
  • Tungsten T5, Tungsten E2, and Palm T|X handhelds
  • Zire 72 handheld

DEVICE-SPECIFIC NOTES

LifeDrive

After HotSyncing the .mp3 files you must move them from the /Music folder to the /AUDIO folder. Alternatively, instead of HotSyncing the .mp3 files you can use Drive Mode to copy the .mp3 files directly to the /AUDIO folder.

Check For Updates

To check if there is a more recent version of the SelectCam Buddha Machine, using the Blazer web browser ("Web"), tap the menu button (or upper left corner of the screen) as usual to bring up the menus, then select the "Online/Check for Updates" menu item.

This requires a data connection to the Internet. Your mobile provider's data charges apply.
